    The church was established in 1968. We have our own building. One of the major works of the Macquarie congregation is the Macquarie School of Biblical Studies which operates throughout the week. The school is run by two full-time and a number of part-time teachers and has trained preachers who now work with many congregations throughout Australia and overseas. Trains men as evangelists and teachers and women as teachers

    Located in western Sydney, the Church of Christ at Merrylands has about 30 people regularly assembling for worship. The men of the congregation undertake an unpaid ministry, rather than pay a full-time evangelist. The congregation has been meeting at the same address for over 60 years (and elsewhere before then). The church includes Italian- and Spanish-speaking brethren.

    The Richmond-Hobartville district is a thriving community of approximately 10,000 souls and it is situated 70 kms north-west of Sydney in the beautiful Hawkesbury Valley.
        The congregation is active in evangelistic efforts both locally and further afield. Locally, we have a weekly newspaper article; we have a stall in the Richmond Markets which operates once every two months; and we also do regular letter-boxing, using both locally produced material and important magazines. Outside the local area we support a missionary in Papua New Guinea, and also help in the support of a student attending the Macquarie School of Biblical Studies. We also have plans to give MSOBS some direct assistance.
